BODY LENGTH: Lay your garment flat (face down). Measure from the center back neckline seam straight down to the bottom of the hem.
BODY WIDTH: Lay your garment flat. From 1 inch below the armhole, measure the garment across the chest.
SLEEVE LENGTH: Lay your garment flat (face down). Measure from the center back neck to the outer edge of the shoulder seam, then along the outer edge to the sleeve end.

Then compare the measurements of your favorite garment to the measurements below of this garment.
